I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.

Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
